"Captain Paul was born in the panhandle of Florida in Pensacola beach where fishing and playing in the ocean was a big part of his life. "I moved to the Florida Keys when I was 15 and learned all aspects of commercial fishing for about 15 years from long-lining for shark and swordfish to shrimp boats, net boats, lobster and crab boats and hook and line fishing for snapper and grouper. I have spent most of my life on the water. I have been in the Naples area about 20 years now. I spent 10 years in the Everglades National park as a captain and a naturalist guide, so I have extensive knowledge of the SW Florida Ecosystem as well as all of its flora and fauna. I have been captaining fishing charters for 12 years in and around Naples Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, but in total, I have been fishing the waters of SW and S Florida for the last 35 years. Through the many years of travel on the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, I had many adventures. One of them was rescuing Cuban refugees in the Florida Straits.
