This is a 2h30min long Sunset Eco/Sightseeing Boat Trip with optional Island Stop (No Fishing)! South Florida's sunsets are some of the most stunning and vibrant sunsets in the country! Come to experience a beautiful sunset on the water while also enjoying South West Florida's diverse flora and fauna. On the way out of Gordon Pass, we have the option to stop at the secluded beach areas of Keewaydin Island to collect seashells, explore one of the hidden trails, go for a swim or just relax. Then, we can watch the sunset from the island if you like or get back on the boat to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. While on the trip it is possible to encounter bottlenose dolphins, often seen following the boat closely, and manatees, ospreys, bald eagles and different types of wading birds like egrets or tricolored herons. You will also have a chance to learn about the greater Everglades ecosystem and the steps that are being taken to preserve it. While out on a trip, please feel free to ask any questions and express any concerns or needs you may have. And don't forget to bring your camera since there will be lots of opportunities to take some good photos of birds and other wildlife! And of course, children are always welcome!
